Krystal Willis
Krystal Willis is a proud mother of one, a loving daughter and a warrior for Christ. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University where she majored in Dance and minored in Secondary Education. She has trained and studied in various genres including ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and liturgical dance.
Krystal is a Dance Teacher at Drew Academy in the Aldine Independent School District in Houston, Texas. She is a 2020 graduate of The Eagle International Training Institute Dance Year 1.
Krystal began teaching dance by choreographing for Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Dance Ministry where Dr. Rev. E. A. Davis is Pastor. She has worked with many groups including Praise N Motion, Men N Motion, Anointed Vessels and Galilee N Motion. Krystal has traveled around the United States of America aending National Baptist Congress for over 20 years. This is where she has gained her biblical foundation and passion to dance for God. She is a member of Tau Chapter Alpha Nu Omega Christian Sorority and Fraternity Incorporated.
Krystal has ministered in dance in numerous plays and directed several productions including “Past, Present and Future The Journey Continues”. She has also recorded live in 2006 for Move Something at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston, Tx. Krystal has won many awards for choreography, technique and performance with her school Badger Dance Company at various competitions including Crowd Pleasers, MA, StarQuest and StarBound.
Krystal has a passion to minister to the youth and teach dance because while she is using movement she feels free to praise in the presence of the all mighty. Her philosophy states that she believes anyone can learn how to dance with time. It takes hard work, practice, discipline, dedication and perseverance. She believes when the dancer has a positive working mindset and takes the initiative to put in the effort to become beer he or she will become successful.
Krystal has achieved many accomplishments, but her number one accomplishment was following her heart; In doing so, she is doing what she loves, embracing, encouraging and inspiring the youth while fulfilling her calling to teach dance.
