Justin Boyd
Justin is an actor, singer, musician, and composer from Nashville, TN. He received his BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) from Tennessee State University in the Fall of 2013. He would continue his education in 2016 when he was accepted into the first ever class of The Institute for American Musical Theatre in New York City. In this conservatory, he would learn from Broadway professionals such as Andrew Drost, Micheal Minarik, Marni Raab, Kenneth Kantor, and many more. In his career, Justin has had the privilege to bring many characters to life on stage and on film. Some of his favorite stage roles include Coalhouse Walker Jr. (Ragtime), Phoebus de Martin (The Hunchback of Notre Dame), Donkey (Shrek The Musical), Sebastian (The Little Mermaid), Curtis Taylor Jr. (Dreamgirls), and the Voice of Audrey 2 (Little Shop of Horrors). Aside from performing on stage, Justin is a Teaching Artist for a program called Disney Musicals In Schools. This program creates sustainable theatre departments in elementary schools around the country. He’s discovered that the only thing more rewarding than performing for others is seeing children truly enjoy and cherish the magic of theatre.
